 "description": "L\u2019échantillonnage dans les cours d\u2019eau à substrat meuble et à écoulement lent est effectué selon une approche communément qualifiée de multihabitat. Les échantillonnages sont faits dans les berges, les débris végétaux et les plantes aquatiques, et ce, proportionnellement selon leur présence à la station de 100 m. Ces trois habitats sont sélectionnés en raison de leur stabilité et de leur productivité. On exclut les autres habitats tels le sable, le limon, l\u2019argile, les algues et les seuils rocheux.Les stations avec un indice de santé du benthos pour les cours d\u2019eau à substrat meuble (ISBm) ont été échantillonnées depuis 2003. Les stations permanentes sont visitées à chaque année depuis 2010, les stations rotatives sont visitées aux 5 ans et enfin, les stations occasionnelles sont visitées dans le cadre de projets particuliers.Les variables de l\u2019ISBm sont : nombre total de taxons identifiés principalement au genre; nombre total de taxons appartenant aux Plecoptera, Odonata, Ephemeroptera et Trichoptera (POET) identifiés au genre; abondance relative des Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera et Trichoptera (EPT); abondance relative des insectes; abondance relative des taxons tolérants (cotes de tolérance au genre); indice biotique d\u2019Hilsenhoff calculé avec les cotes de tolérance au genre.",
